Very nicely done. I like the fact that you made the addition symmetrical looking with the windows, but was there a reason for not aligning the roof line?

The original roof was not to be touched in the initial phase( Existing Roofing was to Remain) Client Decided they liked the offset and found additional funds to Re-roof the Existing House as well.

I agree...like the roof not being aligned...much more interesting!

I think the unaligned roof looks good.

I like the roof. Would be super to have more stone work to balance what you have. But beautiful job.

If you had the same roof line it would like a duplex,,,,yuck. This way it adds dimension and just breaks up the eye line,,,, love it!
I am glad you did not make it symmetrical and have the one stone work,, again it would like a duplex if too symmetrical.

I like the update... I'm not a fan of the box houses, though. It would have been nice to have added some shape to it with such a big lot.

Wonderful! Your attention to detail, especially with the trim, is very stunning. I love the little gable on the porch. We just re-sided a house, + I pushed for all the old-fashioned trim that I could. It makes a big difference, don't you think? http://redbirdv.wordpress.com

The offset roof lines are perfect; subtly, elegant, and a great way to add dimension to what was once a run of the mill home. Not only that, but the added second entry, extended porch, stone facade work, and even the paint color really go a long way when talking about a boost in curb appeal and functionality. Overall, great value put into this project, awesome job!
