Master bedroom decorating

I just move into my house for about a year now and is slowly furnishing it. The top of my bed just feels so empty but I have no idea what I should put on there any suggestion?

Thank you good idea. Also, I wanted to paint my walls but I'm having a hard time deciding on colors. I definitely want to stick to neutral though.

Another idea would be 3 mirrors following the curve of the Headboard as seen in the ref pic

Love what you have going on with the grey and silvers. Add a mirror as suggested or framed art that might have a color to use as the room accent.

Do you prefer a darkish or lightish paint colour ?

Thanks for all the advice. For the paint I want light shade but I also want my white trimming to stand out.

If you were considering a rug one with an antique white medallion on a dark grey would be a consideration

That rug is gorg! I was thinking about grey too for the walls. Would the rug be place under the bed?

depending on the size which should be adequate to fit comfortably under the bed and extend beyond the bed onto the floor for visual balance.

I wouldn't hang anything heavy above the bed in case it fell for any reason? Painting it seems most economical but the recessed spaces shown above are beautiful.

Have you considered floating the bed in front of the windows? Th mirrored tables look a little tight as is.

It's a bay window so I'm not sure how that would look.

I have a pretty good size bay window too but I can't seem to figure out if I want to put 2 accent armchairs with a table or tall lamp in between the chair. My other option is a nice tufted chaise. Help please!!

You could try 2 chairs and an ottoman in the bay area
Unfortunately not the colours I would recommend.

Hello, the bed looks lonely and the windows are looking for friends. Including the bed in the window area would be a huge hit.......I'm talking out of the park here! The bed doesn't have to be exactly center of the bay. Because the headboard is like it's own wall it could be pulled away from the wall and into the view of the windows so the foot would land about 1/3 of the way into the space. You can try this with the side of the bed parallel to the windows or swung so that the foot is further into the windows. You'll wake up to an outside view!
Toss a rug at an angle or use an animal hide style rug. I'd take the side tables and lamps outside to an altogether different room, or maybe some close friend could adopt them. Use two different tables. One table lamp and one floor lamp with a curvey neck. Anyway I wish you luck......whatever you do you have a beautiful room to enjoy....Jeff

The space by the window can be done numerous ways so its up to you what you want. You can do two flanking chairs with a small table in the middle.

Or you can just simply put a chaise with a small table

I think I see a martini on the table ;)

I'm actually loving the idea of the floating bed in front of the window. But my only problem is I have a 65 in tv in my room and if move the bed towards the window I won't have anywhere else to put the tv.
I'm taking this picture from the window angel. How would I arrange this help please!

What is on the left side of the wall where the door is located?

Sometimes less is more, you don't necessarily need ANYTHING above the bed. If you must, consider something framed in a delicate charcoal tone with lots of white, figural, a drawing, a tasteful nude, vintage photography.

Looking at the newest pictures, maybe you should put the bed where the tv is and the tv where your bed is? The wall space on the tv has more room for the bed. Also, instead of putting the traditional table lamps, how about you put 2 small chandeliers/pendants?

Alright, I have a solution that comes with $$$
TV drops into the foot of the bed
    Foot of bed TV cabinet
I'm familiar with the cabinet style just not at the foot of the bed but it is a good idea?
