    Thank you for asking. The purple plant is Tradescantia pallid/Purple Queen, is good in sun or partial shade with moderate water needs. The tall green grass, Calamagrostis X acutaflora 'Karl Foerster' / Feather reed, grass, requires the same conditions as the Tradescantia. They are in the same 'Hydrozone' for drip irrigation and have about 3" of mulch around them to retain the moisture in the soil.
