We have a three-sided veranda and I'm trying to figure how much "stuff" to put on it to give it a more welcoming look, without overloading. The front side is 35' wide, 8' deep. Roughly 18' is in front of the great room windows. Another data point is that the house sits back from the road about 450'. Finally, we have a large screened in porch in the back, so the veranda is not our only outdoor space. I just bought two adirondack chairs....since most of the time there are only two of us. I'm thinking since there is already so much white trim that I'll stain these and add bright red cushions. Maybe green? This veranda gets a of ton of sun from the west late in the afternoon, so it will be an evening hangout. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
