Landscape Lighting - Cool, Warm or Both for a Modern Backyard

I am in the process of updating my backyard and am adding all new landscape lighting. My house is a mid century modern, lots of straight angles. My backyard is being rebuilt to compliment the simple modern design.

I am all about LED lighting, and am intrigued about cool white light. I've seen some photos and really like the daytime look, but my wife is all about the warm lighting. I was wondering if we should stick to one light output, warm vs cool or if mixing them together is accepted.

I'm thinking warm lighting on tree's, bushes and plants while using cool white lighting around patio decking, fireplace seating area toekicks and outdoor kitchen.

For the tree's, I'll use spot lights and for the patio, fireplace seating and outdoor kitchen using led tape lighting. Leaning towards Kichler 3600K temperature.

Are there any do's or don't when mixing different light outputs?
