Hello, Imgid. The PA flagstones are set on a base of compacted stone dust so some rainfall will go between the joints. The patio is pitched away from the basement so water falling on the stones will flow away. There are permeable pavers and setting techniques but these are real stones and not porous.

I love this design, Good use of stone pavers softened by irregular edge and landscaping at perimeter. Straightforward and just right.

Anyone have any comments about Peacock Pavers? Interior and exterior application concerns?
I am considering using them in a first floor great room and also on a patio in a courtyard.

I don't have experience with them. Where do you live I terms of freeze thaw cycles?

We live in Nashville, TN.

Warmer than DC area where I am so choice for outside should be okay. Why not call peacock pavers and ask for references and/or to see installations near you? They are attractive. Good luck!
