Pretty space. It looks like you have enough room to do either configuration. I usually prefer the couch and two chairs because it allows for more flexibility and variety. Plus using two chairs would keep open the view of that beautiful wall of windows and doors.

Beautiful space, don't know what the space is like on the other side of the fireplace but as others have mentioned, it looks like you have plenty of space for either placement. If you need seating, 2 couches and 2 chairs will work. Your home has wonderful bones!

Not that this would be the style of furniture, just the placement: I like the idea that the two couches do NOT have to match. In other words, if you get another couch it could be an upholstered piece (with legs, so you get a sense of space) and not a matching leather.
