We just purchased a new home & I'm looking for ideas on how to design our new living room! It's a long room so I think it can be arranged into 2 zones. We have a suite of furniture that we can arrange around the fireplace, a 3 seater & a 2 seater. We want to redesign the fireplace to create a feature, possibly put the TV over the fireplace? We're not sure whether to go with a wooden surround, stone or marble! The house is a colonial & we want o do it justice! So any ideas are welcome!
