Need help hiding a support post using double sided fireplace

We have a support post that is located 8 feet from each corner of our "under-construction" (20'x16') sunroom. We just purchased a double-sided fireplace with a direct vent hoping we could hide the post and also have a heating source in the room. How can we do this creatively and not make it too overpowering in our sunroom? Our design for the room is coastal-inspired and minimalistic.

11 years agoWe are trying to eliminate the post with a stronger beam. The revised floor plan moves the double sided fireplace near the entry. One side faces the sunroom, the other into the living room. Furniture placement is a first guess. Any ideas and suggestions are appreciated.
