Corner sinks can really be tough. I got on a great jag remodeling kitchens in a 40's neighborhood that almost all had them. We took them out in every case.

We added an oversink window as well. I recommend eliminating the current sink location, moving the sink, and adding a window over the new sink location.

Homeowner's get concerned about moving the plumbing, but it is not a particularly big deal. Adding a window is not either, it just needs to be correctly budgeted and planned for.

Merci!! I am hesitant to move it because, this space will be lost has I cannot put cabinets, or much else.... If I remove the sink what could I design in that space? Thanks for everything your enthusiasm is contagious (sorry for the spelling mistakes , English is my second language)

Shannon's right, it's not a huge deal -- BUT anytime you start moving stuff around in kitchens I heard that "Chat-ching" sound in my head. Little costs add up in redos! If you move it, what are you going to do with the DW? How does that impact other appliance placement? Etc., etc. The easier solution is to bevel out that corner. Every cabinet maker (hi or lo) makes a corner sink base. Here are a couple so you can see.

Ooo. I love the two farm sinks, so much more functional than the double sink Veillem has. Great photos Bond Girl.

I think that in order to do it right, you'd close up the corner windows and add a new window over the new location of the sink and another one elsewhere. This depends so much on what kind of remodel you are doing. If you are doing a MAJOR renovation, then move everything around. If you are doing just a little to get you by for a few years, get a farm sink like Bond Girl shows and keep everything where it is!
