How did you do the footing of the deck?

    Thanks for the question about '50s Split! The footings are concrete piers, formed with "Big Foot" footings and coordinating piers, set back from the edge of the deck. The deck framing comprises pressure treated girders that cantilever from the piers, with flush-framed deck joists spanning between them. Hope this helps!
