Hi, for our beach house we put down a oak colored one and it has been great. Has passed the test for dogs, kids etc. Would have loved white but then there are the grandchildren...........! Its three years old now, goes beautifully with white and blue and white accesories (with some maderin color for winter) as we now live here on the east coast of Australia. Hope this helps. Take some cushions down and put them against the floor in the shop to get some idea how you feel.
