My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The countertop is made from salvaged floor joists. It is 100+ year old fir taken out of a house in Philadelphia.

      Biscuits, glue, no stain, Real Milk Paint's wood/soapstone wax/oil sealer

      Thank you for the fast response. One more question, how much finishing did they take and how did you do that? Just sand them? It looks great.

      We planed the wood and then sanded after joining the boards. We oil/wax the top every 4-6 months

      Beautiful! Real Black Walnut does not need a stain to be beautiful.
