The light in your picture isn't very good so I searched your carpet and paint colors. Assuming I found the right ones, it appears that your carpet has pinkish undertones as does the shaker beige, and the monroe bisque is more yellow. I can see why this has turned into a nightmare as they don't have the same undertones so they don't look right together. It reminds me of trying to find the same color jacket to go with a skirt or pants when they aren't a suit--almost impossible.

I would definitely look for a different color with some contrast to it such as a grayish blue or green. I would be careful of light grays with their purple undertones. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Hayley is quite right. The carpet (at least the photos off hd) show a carpet that is inside the "antique rose" colour range. In your photo the colour is showing a blue carpet with 2 different 'blue' based paints.

There is a little drop down menu/filter "Show Options" that you can reduce the choices. I've used the "pink" and "gray" options and those are the only ones showing. Something like hampshire taupe (990) might give you a starting point. I'm only going off of two websites on my computer monitor = not accurate...but the tool should work well enough to get you a better start.

Some people can see back ground colours (the colours that make up a colour) and others can't. It isn't a slight on anyone. It takes practice and years of working with colours, fabrics, etc to get "really good". The way a colour "reads" in your space will have a lot to do with direction of sunlight, amount of windows/natural light, amount of foliage around the windows, etc.

Try viewing your choices outside on a clear day...to see the "back ground colours" and then take them inside to see how the "read" (the colour they turn into in that room). You will find that what looks "antique pink" on your sunny front porch will "read" green/yellow/blue/peach in a dark N.E. facing room with a cement wall outside the window. That's why finding a colour in a store is one thing...getting it to "read" properly in a home is another.

Your two choices are yellow based beiges. You might have better luck working with pink toned grays.
