We are looking to redo our kitchen. New cabinets, lighting, etc. The appliances stay, but we are going to relocate them. Our second sink will be at one end of the kitchen near the pantry and will be a coffee station. The main sink will be under the windows, and will have a 10' long bar in the center of the space. I'm doing 2' deep cabinets 9' in length, with a 12" overhang on two sides to accommodate 6 barstools. With this said, the house style is french provincial, and I'd like to stick with that theme but nothing over the top. There is a before and after photo of a wall we took out to open the kitchen to the dining room. I was thinking off white cabinets, travertine flooring, and light counters (simple granite or quartz). I want marble, but fear the issues it may cause.
