cgrimes75 - we are in the planning stages for our kitchen but will be using Cabico MDF cabinets in Oyster as well... Do you have any pics of your installed cabinets? We are also trying to decide on moulding colours! Thanks!

Sure I will put some up for you.

It's hard to tell in these pictures but our contractor created a wall color for us that's a little lighter than the cabinets. We did crown molding around the cabinets and then he did a 1 inch molding for the walls without cabinets, painted in the same color as the walls. This helped with definition and kept the room from feeling too heavy with crown molding all around. I think you can do either depending on your space. Our space was not huge and opens into the dining room that has white molding so I needed to transition.

Definitely not grey crown molding around the room. Too heavy of a look unless you have very tall wall heights.
