PINK monstrosity toned down with blue

Everybody is happier in the neighborhood now that we got rid of the PINK house. Now we need to figure out how to get rid of the pink tile on the front steps.

    Amazing what paint can do. For the steps you could do something in a dark gray stone, or go outside the box and do something more artistic in a colored deco tile - staying away from pink, of course.

      Your change looks great. Now or the steps, I'm not sure if you want to replace them or do something different with the existing? And the handrail? Are you thinking of changing it?

      Yes there are two screened in porches on the front of the house and two similar on the back. We left the upper back porch un-screened and love the breezes flowing through.

      What kind of railings would you replace them with on the front steps?

      By any chance are you in the south near water? If so, a modern tile with a water motif would be very appropriate like the one in this backsplash.

      The house is in South Florida - Englewood, west coast and surrounded by a bay and near the Gulf of Mexico. The water motif tile is a great idea decoratingjoy - good idea.
