Thank you for inquiring about adjustable bases and appropriate bed frames. The short answer is yes, you are limited to what bed frames you select that will be compatible with your Serta adjustable mattress set.

Here at Ergo, our specialty has been adjustable beds for 13 years, so we can make any scenario work for our customers. We only sell bed frames that are compatible with adjustable bases and all of our mattresses work with adjustable bases. The bed frames we sell are "empty" and allow you to place an adjustable base mechanism within the bed frame (as shown in the photo). The salesperson you work with should be inquiring about your desired bed height and the height of your adjustable base, so it is hidden with the bed frame. Since you already own the adjustable base and mattress, you need to make sure whatever bed frame you buy covers the adjustable base (as shown in the photo). You really need to look out for (and avoid) slats and bed bridges when you shop for bed frames, as well.

I'm ready to buy, and thrilled to find your advice. I bought a Beautyrest Queen plush mattress & adjustable base. I MUST get a fabulous bed. Love that this is your specialty . I'm in deep remodel now, and must buy the bed. Flooring goes in Oct 5.
