Not sure what you're looking for, a stain color for the all your hardwood floors to match the inspiration pic? What is on the floor in kitchen now, is it already hardwood like in your hall and bedrooms? Or are you putting in a new floor and you want suggestions on what will go with the new paint colors and existing color hardwood floors? How about charcoal slate tile? Looks lovely with the colors you're working with in kitchen.

Is this the look you're replicating? Just this kitchen from your ideabook?

THE walls will be this color in my DEN and galley kitchen. They are currently the OLD wooden paneling (As this is in picture- just painted) and the other kitchen picture I have in that same idea book- is the color my REAL existing cabinets will be re-finished to.
My question is- what is a Good color choice for the floors. With this pale YEllow color, and this color cabinet?
My contractor suggested Vinyl plank- I love the vinyl plant what has the bevel edges and French bleed look....but can not find it in a Lighter color that complements my existing hardwood floors in hallway to bedrooms & bedrooms..................................

Mefor- can you post pictures of what charcoal slate tile looks like? what is up keep on this product?

This is Montauk slate. It comes in lots of sizes. All you need to do is seal the slate and the grout with an impregnating sealer and you vacuum and clean as any other floor. If you're still in the planning stages, perhaps consider putting underfloor heating in, the slate would conduct the heat beautifully.
