Megan, How would someone go about making a half-strength dilution of the wall paint color in order to get the results in the photo? I have an interior decorator who is inquiring. Were you responsible for the beautiful paint color selections? I can't tell you how many people have asked me about the door color. I've seen conflicting information about this. Can you please confirm whether it is Palladian Blue or Wythe Blue. To me, it doesn't look like either. Both Palladian and Wythe are very soft tones and actually either will match perfectly with the blue in the rug. The door looks more saturated. Thanks so much for your help! Door looks like BM spirit in the sky.

And any decent paint store should be able to cut your paint color by 50 pct. Just ask.

KD Spain, I apologize for not seeing the message you posted long ago! WE LOVE OUR RUG!!!!!! I can confirm that the color of the door is Wythe Blue. I'm not sure how they diluted the wall color; I was under the impression that they used white to thin it out, but I'm not positive. I'm afraid I'm not the designer, just the delighted door/rug owner :) Chelsea Kasch (above) was our talented interior designer.
