Should i wallpaper the wall with the window??

So pretty. My daughter's room is similar, and we used the alcove for a love seat and floor cushions for her friends to hang out. I love the chandelier and the color of the walls. I would move the dresser next to the bed and leave the nightstand where it is. I think you definitely could wall paper the wall with the window....Does she want wallpaper? I would definitely find a way to make use of the alcove either with a desk, chairs, or floor cushions. Looks like it could be a really fun place to hang out. Will try to find some pictures/examples. Another thought...Could you do a vanity in the alcove?

For best natural light for putting on makeup, I'd want the vanity under or by the window with a standing makeup mirror on the top of it. If the entry is that door down in the alcove, I'd want it to swing the other way, so your aren't boxed in when you come into the space. Put the tall chest on the wall where the mirror is and the mirror at the end of the alcove to pull light down to that darker space. The dresser could fit on the wall where the chest is now, leaving room for a chair/reading nook in the alcove. Can you find a semi-flush ceiling fixture for the alcove that mimics the style of the chandelier?

Of course, the chair/nook in the alcove won't work, but the other suggestions I made might. Hope you'll try them and let us see how they work out.

Yes, I didn't realize that there was a door leading out the room in the alcove. I think your furniture placement is good then, since the dresser is close to your daughter's closet. I think you should go for the wallpaper...it will be pretty. If you can't find wall paper your daughter likes, you could always use stencils and paint to make the wall look like wall paper. You could choose the next color-one shade darker than the wall or even use a metallic. I did this in a bathroom and everyone thinks it is wall paper. Great room. I'm sure your daughter is loving it. I'll send a picture later of examples.

Stencils are fun. I remember stenciling red roses on the walls in my friend's teen's room a few years back.
