They did such a phenomenal job on our basement bar build out. From start to finish they were on top of communication. We got a timeline at the beginning of the project letting us know who would be in each day and they come to check the work after each sub contractor leaves. Carrie was also extremely helpful in the design process, if you don’t have the eye that can see what would look good she will run multiple options to help you find your perfect fit! Can not rave enough about the integrity and quality of this company we will be using them for all remodels going forward!

I hired J Bros and had high expectations given their awards. They still exceeded all my expectations. They were friendly and very professional. They remodeled half of my main floor (Kitchen, dining room and stairs). They provided me a schedule for the remodel and stayed right on schedule the whole time. They were finished on the day they had told me! Their subcontractors were professional and kept to the schedule as well. And nothing got beyond the careful eye of Mitch who supervised and ensured nothing was missed. Great workmanship. I recommend them to my friends and will hired them again for my next remodel.

J Brothers had two projects on our home this fall. One was to replace all of our windows in our home. They provided excellent work and quality on this project. The majority of the siding was removed and replaced in order to properly install the windows. Much more labor than I expected. The second project was a complete renovation of our master bathroom. We are extremely happy with the results. This project required multiple subcontractors along with a detailed schedule. J Brothers worked through the schedule on time and we are completely happy with the results.

We remodeled our main level with J Bros and think it was one of the of the best decisions we've made as homeowners. Not only is our home absolutely gorgeous and functional but our experience with J Bros was wonderful. Collaborative, thorough, honest and fun. The budget that they gave us as an estimate was generous- they did not quote the cheapest material and up their cost if we chose higher-end products.. We've already recommended them to everyone who will listen and will continue to do so. We daydream about the transformation they can give our master bathroom next! The three things that stand out when comparing other construction experiences: 1. Schedule. We added work (an entire half bath and new carpet in our basement) onto the the scope after the project began. JBros made it a point to complete the work up to the same high quality standards WITHIN the original timeframe given to our project. 2. Personal. My entire family truly enjoyed the team. They worked hard, were friendly, kid-appropriate and we never were left wondering if they were showing up or what was getting done. 3. Hiccups. Every project will run into an unexpected frustration at some point. Ours was no different. When J Bros became aware of an issue, we were told immediately and were part of the discussion to determine the solution. We were always given options, with our project manager saying "we will figure this out until you are happy. Not accepting of the issue, but HAPPY. Working with J Bros was one of the best consumer experiences we've ever had. 5+ stars

Our project was a complete gut and update of the kitchen in our 1975 split entry home. The wall between the kitchen and living room was removed to create one large, beautiful space. J Brothers worked with us to plan and select a layout, cabinets, flooring, counter tops and finishings that made the space so much more than we could have expected. Every J Brothers employee who worked on the project was respectful, friendly and followed the timeline to complete the project in 5 weeks. Amazing! Chuck Johnson and his family are the nicest, most professional, and absolutely the best contractors we've ever had the pleasure of working with. When we chose to buildout our basement we had a clear idea of what we were trying to achieve. We did the typical research, asked for bids, then sat down to decide on who we should ask to do the job. J Brothers bid initially seemed a little high, but took into consideration many things we hadn't considered. In the end their's was the only bid that was realistic. Appropriate allowances for cabinets, fixtures, lighting, etc. were included. All of which would have ended up as "extras" had we chosen another contractor. Chuck and his team made what is often a very stressful undertaking... pleasurable. In the end we stayed on budget and got exactly (actually more) than what we had envisioned. There is a reason J Brothers Home Improvement is always rated so high; every employee is a professional with vision who takes pride in everything they do. They ALL give 110% to make your dream a reality.

We couldn't be happier with our new three season porch. J Brothers was fantastic to work with from the design process all the way through to the finishing touches and follow-ups. Very high quality work. Stayed on schedule. If any hiccups- they recover in an excellent manner. We had several add-ons and they were no problem for them to handle. It was quite a complex project with a lot of moving parts. Love the outcome!

We renovated our kitchen and installed new windows in our home custom built in 1966. It took couple of meetings with Chuck and Teri to go over our renovation needs. J Brothers was very considerate about our budget and timeline constraints. We lived the through the renovation in our home and it was tough. But at the end it was very rewarding. Before the renovation the only time we spent in the kitchen was only for cooking. Now it's much more functional and with 2 little kids we spend lot of quality family time in our new open space. We highly recommend working with J Brothers. They are diligent, honest and great to work with.

J Bros. did a fabulous job remodeling our bathroom. The work was done in a timely manner. Every day things were tidied up before they left. We were very happy with the workers. You could tell they take pride in their work. We love our new bathroom!

J Brothers' quote was inline or below other quotes we received, and right from the beginning they seemed to understand the concept we were going for. We hired J Brothers Home Improvement to remodel our master bathroom, laundry room and mudroom. Within our master bathroom, we removed our corner bathtub and replaced it with our washer/dryer from our mudroom. In addition, we replaced the tile floor, removed the shower surround and put in a tile shower, replaced the vanity and countertops and added a new cabinet next to our washer dryer. In our laundry/mud-room, we removed our washer/dryer, replaced our sink and cabinet and replaced all the floor tile in both our mudroom and adjoining closet and bathroom. In addition, in place of the washer/dryer, we added a new custom locker system. J Brothers and its subcontractors were easy to work with prior the beginning of our project in helping us plan and pick out the materials for our project. Our project began on time and was completed on schedule. Chuck and his team were always very responsive to any questions/concerns we had during the project and we are very happy with the end result. We will definitely use Chuck and his team again during our next remodeling project.

I cannot describe how grateful we are to Chuck and Teri and the entire team at J Brothers Home Improvement. Over the course of the past 4 years, they have helped turn our house into a home. We have hired them to do a number of home improvements at our home; from window replacement, new deck, new roof, kitchen remodel (granite demo to be more exact), a reconfigured laundry room (they actually made a laundry room usable and nice!), trim work, etc. I could go on and on about all the work they have done and they have done it in a timely matter that was easy on our checkbook and the quality is outstanding. They are a local, family run business and you can tell they care about each and everyone of their clients. We will hire them again in a heartbeat!

J Brothers remodeled our Master Bath about a year and half ago, and when we decided to remodel our basement we knew we wanted them to do the work. They were very helpful in determining potential features and layouts for the space. We then used their website, and the Houzz site to review photos of similar projects. We came across a variety of options that we liked and presented them to J Brothers. They incorporated those ideas along with others they had suggested, and the end result is a space that we can hardly believe belongs to us. Trent did a great job of keeping us informed about the project schedule, and the subcontractors they work with were very friendly, professional, and skilled. Chuck, Terri and the rest of their staff were great to work with, and if we have the opportunity to make future improvements, they will be our first call.

We were pleased with the quality of work, and the attention from project manager Trent Johnson. Excellent work, and at the costs that were estimated. JBrothers did an exceptional job building my three season porch and deck. From design to completion, the attention to detail and the workmanship of the project were outstanding. We first used JBrothers almost 10 years ago when they finished our basement for us. We came back this time for a complete first floor remodel, which included removing several walls, raising floors, and completely reconfiguring the kitchen floor plan. I honestly cannot say enough good things about them! The project finished in exactly six weeks - for a complete gut job! New doors, new trim, new cabinets, appliances, floorplan, etc. No one I have spoken to believes a job of that size could have been done in that short of time frame. Additionally, the project site was left immaculately clean each night, and we had an almost nightly check-in by the owners to make sure things were proceeding as planned and meeting our expectations. The project finished on time, on budget and better than we could have ever imagined! I've since recommended JBrothers to a friend for their first level remodel, and they were equally as thrilled with the work. That friend has now referred JBrothers to another five of their friends. I think that tells you the quality and professionalism you get from this company.

We hired J Brothers to design and build our beautiful, low maintainence deck and patio. We chose Trex Transend Decking in a soft taupe gray color, with white rails and black balusters. We also took out a window and installed a sliding door from our dinette to access the deck. They also subcontracted our concret paver patio, and landscaping of river rock under the deck and around the patio. While starting the patio, we ran into a water problem under our home that required we excavate along the back and install a drainage and exterior pump system to solve the problem. Chuck Johnson knew how and who to get to help us. Our home is about 23 years old, and we originally had Scherer Bros. Far north Windows. These windows had a design flaw that caused them to rot out, so we have had J Brothers replace most of the windows in our home. We chose Weather Sheild windows this time. We have been extremely pleased with everything about JBrothers, They do everything to a top quality of perfection in their work, including daily clean up. They always gave timely attention and professional handling of our questions, or any small requests, or changes, or problems that we had. We hope to have them back again if we start on any other home remodeling projects. We would recommend them to anyone!

We have had J Brothers do a couple of remodeling projects on our home. They remodeled our master bath a few years ago, and then our kitchen earlier this year. Both times, I have been more than satisfied with the results. Chuck and Teri are very professional, as is their entire crew and subcontractors. The kitchen project went exactly on schedule, with only one piece delayed and that by just a day. All project changes were communicated timely with what the cost change would be. My kitchen is now a work of art, really. I'd highly recommend them for any remodeling project, and often do!

From initial "arm-waving" to scheduling meetings with tile and plumbing sub-contractors, to scheduling DAY ONE; it was a very workable relationship. When you have to live with the daily construction/destruction, material movement, and multiple contractors; it is nice to see them clean up and vacuum at day's end, to keep it tolerable to live with overnight. We have lived in our house for 29 years. We decided it was time to update the bathrooms - all three at the same time! This could have been a nightmare, but not with J Brothers Home Improvement in charge. The project was completed in less than 30 days! All three bathrooms were gutted and rebuilt. I remember watching the demo phase and being surprised that they were carefully taking out each piece. Our floors were covered with plastic and I was told that sledgehammering like you see on HGTV just makes a big mess. And then came the rebuilding. All that work you do to pick colors and styles and to see it come back together was very exciting! They listened every step of the way, even when we wanted to redesign the cabinets to include tall drawers - which turned out to be awesome and useful! They even took care of the little details like towel bars and mirrors - we picked them at, had them at the house and they put them up. The finished product is one that will be enjoyed for years and when it was finished - it was truly finished, they left and we started enjoying! During the process, we never were without a bathroom space. They were always making sure that we had a working toilet, shower and sink - it may not have been in the same bathroom, but it was in the same house :) I would highly recommend J Brothers - their attention to detail, promptness, knowledge and efficiency is unsurpassed. We are already thinking about our next remodeling project and will definately call J Brothers! Plus we love that this is a locally, owned family business!
