Kitchen help

Just looking for ideas on new kitchen design....... think we want white cabinets, flat style, but don't want subway tile back splash (seems as if everYone has it now)......(its a farm house renovation).......and almost want island cabinets to be another color. I know its vague but appreciate ANY input!

If that's what you want, go for it. If you want more than an incredibly vague answer, you'll need to provide more details along with pictures so people can give you an informed opinion.

Farmhouse sink would be great too. Please reconsider flat cabinets as too contemporary for farmhouse style.

In an old farm house, it would be neat to use a unique material for backsplash, such as reclaimed wood... You can put a couple coats of floor sealant on it to protect it, and it would carry a great farmhouse aesthetic as well as add a new, unique element to your white kitchen!
