Pendant lighting over island

Must I hang pendantS over my island. The kitchen is very well lit by led ceiling lights, in cabinet lights and under-counter lights. The overall kitchen size is 13 x 20 and the island is 24 x 60.

You absolutely do not have to hang pendants over your island if you don't want them. I promise not to call the pendant police.

It's your home, you can do whatever you like. If your lighting is sufficient and you are happy...then leave it as is. :)

Check out the glass pendants from west elm. They are simple and could add a little character to our kitchen (Not that you really need it) and they won't take over the kitchen.

NO you don't have to. If you have plenty of task lighting then keep it as it is . Beautiful space

yup,i agree, doesnt even seem theres a lack of it, maybe because you dont have a sink or gas on your Island, gives you good traffic flow

Beautiful kitchen. I don't think you have to add pendant lights, but I do think they would definitely enhance and finish the area. Go for it!

They'd probably add a bit more light to tasks on island, being lower than LEDs and focused on center exactly....

No, you needn't add pendants if you have enough lighting. If you want more color, find towels or a vase in the color of your choice.

If you really want pendants, look through inspiration photos on Houzz for something that pleases you.
