I live in USDA Zone 6b in NY State. I have a screened in porch with a roof? What kind of container can stay on the porch all winter without cracking. Does it make a difference if the pot has dirt with a real plant or florist foam with dried plants or an artificial plant? I have a clay pot with florists foam and dried plants. I have a glass pot and a plastic pot, both with artificial flowers. Can those pots go on the porch? If I can, I would like to put a real plant on the porch.
