Home office hands down. What is the fascination with men saving every receipt??? Hmmm... the garage could use some organization too! :)

It's definitely not the size of a room, but the closet. More like I need to rid it of the clothes I don't wear. Talk about overflow. lol :)

Studio / Office. A year ago I took everything out of storage so I would go through and purge, then had to have surgery, so I shoved everything into my art studio / office - which managed to make it the junk room, Last couple weeks I have been slowly going through it so it can be usable space again.

Basement

It's hard to keep two teenagers organized.

Laundry/mud room. Without a doubt!

Closets - I find it too easy to hide clutter in the closets

Agree! Closets. My plan after the holidays is to put in pull out drawers for all my decorations. I have one closet dedicated to decorations for all seasons. After my mercury glass binge this year, I'll have to change that closet to Christmas only and use a second one for the rest of the year. Looking forward to being finished with that!

The 'Gear Room'/garage! We have bikes, skis and climbing gear everywhere... would be nice to see that room stay clean!

Laundry Room...

I have such a small master bedroom that it's impossible to keep everything organized. That's the room that organization would make the most impact on my life.

Mudroom. We have 5 people using one built for 3. I've tried so many things to make it work and have been unsuccessful. We have short time frame for getting our house ready to sell. Once we sell our house we're moving into a rental house while we build our new home. Since I don't have time to do it all myself I hired an professional organizer to help me coordinate everything. When I took her on a tour of my house she saw our mudroom with it's attempts at organization and she said it was too small. She told me we needed to put a larger one in our new home. I thought she'd tell me I needed to get rid of stuff.

Basement. Everything that didn't immediately get put somewhere three years ago when we moved in, is sitting in boxes in the basement. Have plans for shelving/weeding out the unneeded but other places in the house have taken precedence with my time.

The Basement!

kids family room, definitely. My son moved from his room when he moved back after college graduation this May and used it as kind of an efficiency, but without a kitchen and bath. Just moved out, and he still has tons of odds and ends there that have to be sorted and either moved with him or gotten rid of. I don't heat it since it's not being used, and I have to get the ceiling fans turned off. Then maybe I at least can get in there to make some sort of sense while I'm waiting on him. Just too cold to do anything out there right now!

These rooms are very neat but the most messy one is the office

OMG, the office is a major mess. It is it the point that I look in and close the door. I only open the food when I have more junk to store. Going to get serious and clean it out soon, remove the carpet, paint and reclaim it.

The bedroom is lacking on style as well here and there. I would change a few things here.

For me it's the kitchen, highly disfunctional and then the basement (need blinders to get where I'm going).

Master bedroom closet. It's big with extra storage area in it, so it's where I stash things.

My basement! As a Set Decorator in the film biz I've managed to amass a major collection of vintage props and wardrobe. Love to have a vendor come by make an offer and take it all away :)

I would normally say my closet. Although, since my daughter and her family moved in; I would have to say the hole house. Except my kitchen I keep it pretty well organized.

A sewing/ (reading) room off the master bedroom. It has NO storage, shelving or cabinets... spending time with a pencil, measuring tape and paper coming up with a solution that I know will provide both organization and inner peace...

Closet underneath the staircase. I store seasonal things as well as a Christmas tree. What a mess!
