All that dark wood is claustrophobic in that small, dark kitchen. Consider something simpler, in white or a solid color.

I'm replacing my brass hardware on my cherry cabinets, and I am trying to decide between stainless/brushed nickle or glass. I agree with Patricia and chloebud - and the jewelry analogy is perfect!

Silver = hint of bling. You have a tone-on-tone-on-tone kitchen. The "jewelery" of the knobs and handles is what sets the stage for a great kitchen. If you go with the middle choice...you are going to hit "blah" very quickly. A little bit of bling is needed here. I choose the 1st handle (looks to be brushed Stainless Steel).

If you had white cabs with a red stone as the counter top, then I would say go with the middle handle...but you already have plenty of red tones = you need some pop. The only place left to earn you that pop = hardware.

I went with the lightest option, I don't know if it is pewter or stainless but it looks beautiful. No worries about the small dark kitchen any longer, we are installing new LED ceiling lighting as well as under cabinet lighting and a lighter quartz countertop with a light tile backsplash. I'll post before/after pics in a couple weeks! Thank you all so much for your helpful comments!
