I need advice on how to clean this sink up!

It's porcelain I believe. It's lost it's overall black color and has paint stains. We don't want to have to replace it. Any products out there we could use? Thanks!

Ahhh, black porcelaine. Same problem as black toilettes = impossible to stop them from "white" hard water stains. Even if you get rid of the hard water stains today...they come back inside of a year. This is a constant battle. You would find $150 well spent for a replacement sink for this. If you had to pay someone to clean this every 6 months, your $150 would be "done" after 1 year.

CLR for the hard water stains...don't know about the paint.

I see stainless sinks at our local Habitat for humanity for $40 all day long ,it might be time to switch that one out

Goof-off, I agree witih librazen. Test in small area the size of a quarter first. Then polish with a new can of Kitchen Wax or rub with Lemon Pledge or mineral oil. Apply polish once a week after cleaning it.
If you are the very careful type who can avoid scratching the surface, you can use a single edge razor blade to remove paint spots. It might help to fill the sink with very hot water for a half hour or so to soften the paint first.

Stainless steel sink may be your best option. Those porcelain sinks are beautiful but a pain in the but after a while. Goof off is my only suggestion, Walmart sells it.

Try WD-40. spray...you may need a combination of products but I swear by WD-40 to get to the nitty gritty. You may even need a razor blade to scrape away paint.

I have granite counters… (was here when i bought the house) very much “off the shelf” granite with a 5 MM eased edge… the granite had an above mounf stainless…i replaced with a 60/40 split BLANCO seal granite 2 Sink (AmamzonAmazon) and absolutely LOVE IT! its So QUIET! no more splattering no scratches. high heat resistance….. color is ANTHRACITE… wihich is an off black/ towards deep navy black color…. wenf firsf wifh blanco BROWN…. big mistake… YOUR BASE COLOR OF YOUR GRANITE COUNTER (to match sink) IS YOUR DARKER COLOR EVEN THOUGH THE BROWNS, IN MY CASE, MADE UP MORE OF THE COUNTER TOP… a 60/40 split gives you a big side for large pots/ pans. brushed nickel from lowes does the sink flanges and the mid/ low profile pull out sprayer keeps the view from the bar/ peninsula open… you can pick that up from a big box store or online (i used online)… THE BUTTON TO THE FAR LEFT OF PICK RUNS AN AIR SWITCH TO THE DISPOSAL…. everyone loves it! cost about $50… highly recommend blanco over big box stores granite compoaite sinks… they are thicker, heavier, have more eased edges and are true stain resistant, heat/ crack resistant…. granite composite gets a bad name…. mostly from the junk sold in US big box stores!
