We're moving into a new house soon and the builder has installed two electrical boxes for pendant lights. The bar is 7.5 feet long and has a raised 42" high bar. What size pendants should I use? I found some that I like, down lights with an alabaster glass cone shaped shade. They come in 9" and 14" diameter. Which is better? Ideally I'd prefer 3 pendants but that would entail a $250 change fee and then labor for the box.
