My husband and I recently purchased an A-Frame home with a newer 13(?)yr addition. We are looking to knock down the remainder of the A-Frame and build out our kitchen, add 2full bedrooms upstairs and bath, and remove the circular staircase for a more conventional stair system. We really have no idea where to begin. Do we start with an architect and draw up plans or do we higher a contractor?
