Hi! We are building a home with 2 interior fireplaces that are visible to each other. One is in the larger family room that is overlooked by the kitchen island and the other is in the cozier hearth room/breakfast room to the side of the kitchen island. Do they need to match? If not what are the standards for designing them differently but visible at the same time? I don't have any photos as the house hasn't begun construction but I do have a floor plan. Thank you!
