Hi! There is enough "give" in the mesh to help prevent the screen from getting damaged. The screen can also be replaced if it does get damaged. As for sizes, that depends on the type of screen. For example, Executive motorized screens (which this picture shows) have a maximum width of 25 feet. Infinity screens are modular, and as their name implies, an infinite number can be used to screen very wide spaces.
