Very cool! Way to go, hubby!

Wish I'd thought of doing that (we had the same situation)....

Wow, what a good hubby! Love the re-use and recycling the old stuff! Jealous of your potting table. :)

I wish I could get my DH to do that. We do have a stainless steel sink that we replaced. I will tell him that Ruthie's DH made one for her and make him feel guilty. Well, it can't hurt to try...

I haven't requested anything elaborate. A friend's son is going to build it and it is basically going to be a frame with a countertop with a work area and the sink....and it will be plumbed from a faucet that is close to where I want it and it will drain into the grass away from the base so I won't have to stand in a puddle of water.

Wow! You are so lucky! And you're recycling, too.

Wow. a gardening table with a sink,a a big, deep sink in the kitchen, too. Luxurious.

You lucky woman! Just think of all you can do outside now! I HATE shucking corn in the kitchen with the silks and husks piling up and scattered on the floor. I'd love to do a lot of the garden veggie prep outside and toss the debris right into the compost heap then instead of having to carry it outside from the kitchen.

I meant to tell you something amusing on your nematode thread, but will do it here instead. My father-in-law told me that for years he introduced my mother-in-law to strangers as his "sprouse" instead of "spouse". He was an avid gardener and no doubt was confusing "sprout" in the mix there.

Oh, that's too cool, Ruthie. I want one!
