At about the end of March I planted onion sets. 2-3 weeks ago I planted Candy onion plants. Most of my sets have sprouted and are doing well. Most of my onion plants are doing extremely poorly. I pulled one of the dying sets and saw 2-3 wire worms devouring the "bulb". My beets have been slow and my carrots have not come up despite being in the ground for almost one month. My question is how do I get rid of those damn pests?
