This year I am dertimined grow cabbage, I bought a few red cabbage plants and started my own green cabbage plants. All have been in the ground about a month and doing well, BUT...I have them all draped with remay to avoid both the dreaded cabbage maggot flies and also the moths that lay the eggs that become cabbage loopers. My question is; once it warms up can I still keep the remay on them, to avoid those pests or do they have to be uncovered (will the remay cause it to get too hot)?
