sure would like to swap you for some of that rain. We had a total of 0.1 inches in June. O.75 inches in May. Driest spring I have ever experienced. Coupled with above average temps running in the high 90's, crops are a disaster here also.

here in central IL, we've re'd twice the normal rainfull for June. I haven't heard if we broke a record. I'll keep you posted. Thank God, for raised beds even so, my peppers should be alot further along.

Here in east central Indiana it has rained extra but not nearly a record. It seems almost every year [except last year] that somewhere in the season we get rains that prove the wisdom of ridges, channels, and raised areas.

Yeap, we have had our wettest April and June ever in Iowa. My garden is a good month behind, but I am lucky no flood damage.

ok, well you can send the rain our way. This is our second year of drought and I'm afraid to water because we are on a well. My brother's well ran out last year...terrible, terrible, terrible. We're getting some rain today; but the water table is so low its not funny. Its really too bad that there isn't a way to say to a raincloud "no thank you, not here; go someplace deserving."

A little under average here, but not bad. 7 or 8 inches in June isn't un-heard of, though 10 would be too much! Wow, especially with the heavy soils in the heartland, that must be brutal.

I'm sorry to hear that the southeast is having another dry summer. Equally brutal.
