Depends on thier size, if they are under a foot, i would pinch flowers not tips, the eggplant will branch out on its own. If the plant is relativly large then leave be its probably time. Its been my experience that if the plants not ready to support the fruit, usuall it wont fully develope then drop off. But pinching blossoms is what i do.

Agree. Pinch off the blooms if you wish. I wouldn't because they will probably not set anyway. But I can't see the plant and you can.

But there is NO reason to pinch off growth tips.

lizbeth - Please don't misunderstand the discussion and assume some sort of pinching is required. It isn't. You don't need to pinch anything. It isn't even recommended normally.

The only reason the question even came up was because the plant in question was late getting planted and was still small but had bloomed because it was past transplanting age.
