Do peas and beans share the same diseases?

Sorry, I've posted this on the Beans & Peas forum but it isn't very active right now, or else nobody knows the answer. Maybe someone here does.

I want to plant fall peas where my wax and green pole beans are growing when they're finished producing, but I'm not sure that they are exactly healthy.

The bottom leaves are yellowed and dying, which I think and hope is due to the heavy heavy spring rains we had when they were young. I can't find a bean disease description except maybe a little bean rust for a few spots, and I'm not even sure that's what it is. I've been faithfully spraying them with Ortho Garden Disease Control once I noticed the yellowing leaves a month or so ago.

But just in case...

Do beans and peas share the same diseases, or can I plant the peas where the beans are and not worry about it?
