I have heard of the ole timers while I was growing up talk about rooting pear trees. I put a cuting of a pear in a glass jar of water in the window about 3 weeks ago I looked at it today and it is leafing out. I did not put root stimulater in the water, although I probly should have. I am not interested in grafting a pear. I just thought it would be cool to try to root one. Have any of you rooted a pear before and how long would it take? Is it a right or wrong way to do this? I heard my grandma a many times talk about rooting them, but I was too small to remember much details.
