We have a similar piano which has moved with us into our new home (old beamed farmhouse) The room looks lovely but I know what you mean about needing something extra. We have had a similar problem. I think a sideboard under the mirror would add some interest - with one or two lamps on and some nice framed black & white photographs. Hope that helps.

Lovely room! Would a nice tall plant or tall grasses in a heavy container and an area rug add a little texture and softness to the space?

Hi cmmrealdeal, I agree with adding an area rug for the room, perhaps a black & white motif to ground the space.

Yes, exactly David a rug would be a great addition. I've attached a picture of a piano room I did a few years back. The homeowner had this beautiful Chinese screen which we placed in the corner. I think it adds elegance to the room especially paired with the rug. Hope that helps. Charmean Neithart
