Lemon Cucumbers Not setting on

I have grown Lemon Cucs for several years. This year I have them growing on a trellis. They are over six feet tall and vining everywhere. There are male blooms all over the place. I have seen just a few female blooms. I am starting to see more. I have been picking my other cucumbers, right beside them, for almost a month. Not just a few cucumbers, but like 15-30 everyday. I have only picked two lemon cucs (they were very yummy!). They were all planted at the same time.

Has anyone experienced this? The vines are healthy and they have plenty of water. I see bees all over them and other pollinators. I am sure one of these days I am going to be up to my neck with lemon cucs, but that day has yet to come.

jrslick, this is my first year growing lemon cukes and I have only blossoms, too. How do you tell the female blossoms from the male?

Mine are also trellised and running out of places for their tendrils to grab onto. When did you plant them - I planted the second week of June.

Mine were growing on the ground, then on a trellis. This is my first year, I have tons of blossoms. I am looking forward to my first cuke, which is about 2" across. I have been harvesting lots of reguar cukes.

Schoolhouse- The female blossoms have a tiny cuc attached to them. That is how you can tell.

I planted them on May 9th. I lost some to a wash out on June 11th and replanted them soon after.

I need to wait, I guess, if I have too!

I have people at my market asking for them and I hope I can provide them next week.

Just an update: I have lemon cukes, tiny, but I noticed at least five this morning.

I killed nine SVB as the day went on. As they flew in and landed, I squished them - fast little boogers aren't they? Some hid in the blossoms. I couldn't stand there all day, so every once in awhile as I did another job, I'd walk over to the trellis and inspect. There are so many bees about the blossoms, that I don't want to spray right now.
