I love how the Fieldview is like the best of both worlds with a city beyond the enormous and gorgeous tree right outside the window.

Ocean view and St. Simons work for me.

Ocean View - Blue sky & Blue ocean!

After looking at all the pictures for each project I went with House Ocho. I loved the views and the house had a relaxed inviting atmosphere.

A view to the other world...the tree gives the the room life,with it changing each season.

Wow. This is a hard one. I like Ocho for its sense of zen peacefulness and simplicity. Years past when I was in my "city mode" I would have chosen TreeView. Another serene view. And St. Simons - people who've never lived on the wetlands can't imagine its diversity. You really notice sky and clouds. Can I spent a couple of weeks in each?

No doubt the first ocean view is spectacular, but I'm a huge sucker for city views so the SF View gets my vote.

I love the lighting, the straight lines, the tile, large windows, simplicity of a bench!

The S.F. view is my retirement dream fantasy (I was born there). That view is priceless! Imagine the city lights and bridge lit up at night. Oh what a wonderful world....

I had to go with the tree view. It had a way of drawing things down to my scale with the planters and branches in front of the window. Then it opens up to a larger view of the city. I loved the idea of sitting on that soft, soft couch and getting lost in the view.

They are all stunning but it was easy to pick St. Simons Island - Summerour Architects, absolutely stunning view with a wonderful room from which to gaze. Seeing that view and knowing you also have easy access to it too-not as far in the distance just for viewing- but experiencing.

Love the whole thing ♥, it encourages large family gatherings-view at heart of the house where one spends most of his/her time. The types of windows (into smaller ones) is perfect if you don't like the all glass look. The shape of the window, the frames ( sizes ) worked very well indeed. Love how it is perfect for the flooring too. The curtains add a touch of warmth. I wish I could sit in there right now- a retreat while at home!

I reluctntly voted for one but wasnt swept away as I thought I would be by any.... Wish there was a wonderful forest view!

I wrote the original article on 19 Dream Window Views and it was hard enough whittling down my choices to just 19, let alone a single favorite! Of these 7, I had to choose St. Simons Island. The shape of the window is spectacular and the framing of the tree shape is perfection. Then there is the view out to the horizon beyond that. Sheer magic! The photography is also excellent. But truly, I love all of these views and the others in the original article. There are so many spectacular view photos on Houzz that I could easily have written an article with 50 photos! But then I would have run out of things to say beyond, "and here's another great view ... and another one ... and another."

They all offer beautiful views and the rooms are great too. It is always going to be the crystal blue water that gets my vote. My own home has a lovely view of foothills, a pond, and lots of green so maybe that it is why I am so drawn to the bright blue ocean. Always wanting what you don't have, perhaps.

Voted for # 2 because at first glance, I got the "WOW" feeling. Water scenery is always a plus but the arrangement and size of the windows almost draws more attention than the view.

Ocean view for me...although Sugar Bowl was a close second because of the similar view at our former home in Cold Spring New York

I love the Fieldview! The trees look like they were planted there just to reflect off the blue water of the pool- then the quiet field beyond draws your eye. Wow!

I'll always take the natural view over a city/manmade one. Sugar Bowl was my close second, a celebration of the mountains and snow.

I had a very rough time deciding between the Ocean View and St. Simon's Island. I ended up choosing the Ocean View only because I live nowhere near the water right now and, in over-103-degree heat, I would love an Ocean Breeze right now! LOL

I like the calming clean white lines, and the water with its endless rhythmic motion crisp and refreshing. The Corbusier chairs have always been a favorite as well!

Sugar bowl! I live at the coast so it's definitely the winter wonderland view for me.

Living in Denver I go for the ocean view. Just stunning and clear.
