I like wood doors, but the downside is the space they take can take up when open.

I like wood doors as well over glass or louver since they are more solidly built and dirt don't show through as much. Mirrored doors are great for entry hall, but some people don't like it in the bedroom especially when waking up at night as seeing your own reflection.

Emily might be referring to bi-fold doors, which can be great for space saving, but sometimes you just have to be gentle with operating them as the track could come off and they could be tricky to install.
