    The grey "feels" so sexy!
That red room is horrid, gray is not one I could live with but it is beautiful, just cold. My vote goes to gray.

The Rock and Roll edge room reminds me of one of those "theme" honeymoon suites complete with champagne glass tub:) I prefer the soothing and elegant gray room but find the log filled fireplace highly impractical.

The white & gray rooms are stunning as design & in pictures, but ewwww for anyone's nekid skintone!!! hehe. The rock & roll room is better for color, but could be better executed.

I would change the picture to something abstract with lots of curvy lines and textures. Other than that, the warm color is inviting and playful.

Shimmering elegance -only-; I don't like the other two even a little bit

I like the 50 Shades of Grey room.

I'm a huge fan of Shimmering Elegance. Very "Wilhelmina Slater" and I LOVE it!
Shimmering elegance all the way...yes, VERY "Wilhemnia Slater!" Good call!!
Actually, I like that one so much I already had it saved in my ideabook!
Grey is sexy & sophisticated, so I voted for it; since white room is cold & sterile and the 3d is tacky!
the white ones make me think of a hospital room. I like the grey and red. with mood lighting it would be just right.
The red and black one looks cheap. The white one looks like the inside of a casket. I like the gray but it could use a touch of color.
A is more "romantic", B is "kinky" and C is way too "medical" office
  • 14 years ago
"Shimmering Elegance" is the lesser of 3 evils.
lol.... I like it ...all except for the sticks in the fireplace...seems like a lovely place for spiders to dwell..
None of them are very romantic to me. I chose the shimmering grey elegance because it was the least offensive- I could see it in a nice hotel. I'm not a fan of all grey, all white, or red/black combos personally.
The color scheme for Shimmering Elegance does it for me, it is softer and more welcoming than the room that used red or the stark coldness of the all-white room. The numerous touchable and soft textures is a large part of it. It's not necessarily romantic, but it's relaxing in a way that puts one at ease. Think women and men may differ on these points and find different rooms "romantic."

None really say romance to me. The gray needs warmth, the red/black is a little too Fredricks of Hollywood, and the white is just, well, white. I guess if the "ultra modern" were looking out at the ocean, that might make it a little more romantic.

Love the red wall--feels classy, warm and inviting!
I pick Rock and Roll room because it looks warm and sexy. TheTexture room is a nice second. Looks casual and restful. I dont care much for the Shimmering room because it looks too proper and fussy. A room you woulnd'nt want to mess up.
I chose Rock and Roll too. The wall looks like snakeskin. Makes me think I'm in an old Poison video. :-)
The Rock and Roll room without a doubt - the others look bit sterile for me. I love the red wall!
White! Simple, and feels fresh. Love the other two, but they just don't scream romance to me :)
Although the silver decor is gorgeous ... red just speaks passion to me! Just have to choose the Rock and Roll room; would never get tired of rockin' out there with my man!!!

The all grey and glam reminds me of an luxe hotel in NYC, the Rock and Roll, didn't do it for me, just looks like a normal bedroom, and the sterile white is a hugh contraceptive!
shimmering elegance as above...I don't think any are really what I would call romantic....I like "furrytoes" recommendations!!
It's a lesser of the evils for me. I don't like any of them...but shimmering elegance is what I would have to choose of the three.

The grey bedroom oozes sophistication, glamour and tranquility. I love it. Truth be told, I have a grey bedroom myself so this truly resonates with my design aesthetic.

Shimmering elegance - "chic" Can't wait to do my bedroom over. I'm inspired!

Michael Abrams Limited truly nailed it with the Shimmering Elegance bedroom..
Well after much contemplation I voted for #1 the fireplace won me over . Looked so cozy and clean and I bet with a concierge service!
The first is like a peaceful oasis from the maddening crowds. The tranquility and calmness is what I would want in a bedroom. The others while nice are missing that zen like quality that is important to me.

Love the grey room. It is very serene and beautiful with lots of texture.
The sexy glamour of Shimmering Elegance makes it my pick. From the sparkling chandelier to the lux bedding, this bedroom screams romance.
Grey room is beautiful. Others are "well appointed" for their styles but the grey is more my "taste!"
Shimmering elegance room is so beautiful and romantic. I'm trying to do the same in our master bedroom. Thank you for your ideas.
shimmering elegance is perfect, an oasis of grace and beauty, I love it ,love it ,love it.

White room reminds me of a padded cell! , shimmering elegance is too cold. All of the rooms are over styled and contrived. I prefer a more casual elegance.

Ultramodern Textures is my favorite room aesthetically, but I'd be afraid I'd stain something. No wine in that room! So I choose Shimmering Elegance...

Can anyone tell me what the actual color names are for the rock & roll edge picture?

Something more subtle than that loud red room for sure! It's all about soft elegance. This designer wrote a great article about designing a romantic master suite: Turn Up the Heat: Designing a Romantic Master

Ha ha, I had a bedroom back in the 1970s almost like the red one. But since it's not the 70s, I'm not 19 and totally gauche any longer, I wouldn't pick it. The others are lacking in warmth and don't seem particularly inviting to me. So I didn't vote for any of them.
