Pressure washer engine dies when gun trigger is pulled

The engine seems to run pretty well on my Troy Bilt washer. I can clean with it pretty well for 10-15 mins. After a while, when I pull the trigger to wash, the engine dies. It will start right back up every time but as soon as I pull the trigger, the engine will die. The pressure seems good while it is working properly.
