I've always kept my lawn mower in the garage. I just picked up this chipper for $20 at a garage sale. It doesn't have wheels and is a bit heavy for me. I'll keep it outside at least until the rains come. Does it have to be covered in the summer? In the winter I can bring it under the patio cover and would cover it at that time.

If I have to cover it now it will look a bit unsightly, even at the side of the house.
