Hi Renee, the island is aprox 4' x 8'. We designed the island so the curved portion could support the stone slab.

Beautiful kitchen! Would you please let me know the color, name and size of the tiles in the backsplash and the name of the granite and its predominant color?

It's refreshing to see a recent high end kitchen w granite and backsplash in a color other than white, i.e., white marble and white subway tiles. I love the soft contrast of the materials used against the white cabinets.

Also, is the color of the cabinets White Dove?

Hi Fran,
Thank you so much for your kind words! We used the same granite on the countertops and back splash. The backsplash is actually made of slab material rather than tiles. It's called Kashmir; and its basically white and gray with some garnet colored speckles. Yes the cabinets and all of the trim are White Dove.
