About 2 turns out from seated should get you in the neighborhood....also check for a fuel filter inside the gas tank on the end of the fuel hose, it may be gummed up too. Often these 2 stroke motors get gummed up inside the carb due to fuel sitting too long. I had luck recently bringing one back to life by putting a good dose of Chevron Techron (or your carb/injector cleaner of choice) in the gas. Then I used starting fluid to get the thing running for a few seconds at a time. After about a dozen times with the starting fluid, the cleaner did it's job and the motor came back to life. Will check for a fuel filter. Manual doesn't say anything about it, but will look. This model is a 4 cycle which I liked since I could just use straight gas.

Well, checked the valves tonight and they were a tad loose, nothing major so I fixed that. Did the screw all the way in, then 2 out and it fired up on the second pull, but still a little rough. The thing is when I give it throttle, it gives a little moan like it wants to go, but nothing. The cutting head does not even budge. I thought I had carb cleaner in the cabinet, no luck, just brake cleaner. Will pick some up tomorrow and try. Hopefully just a little dirt causing the issue.
