My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    This is in the hobby/laundry room, located at the top of the stairs on the second floor. If you look at the floor plans on http://www.notsobigshowhouse.com, you'll see it. The hookups are behind the units, under the counter.

    yep, that is often done one these project, but the drawback is that you cannot shutoff water quickly if there is a problem-autoshutoffs and plumbed "floodsavers" or floor drains are essential

    not quite---its a deep tray for washing machines that also has a plumbed drain

    Another option is to plumb an additional secondary shutoff that is in an accessible location, such as under a laundry sink.
