need help with color combination

Does grey match with beige? Ihave these great light grey sofa covers. Can they sit well in a room that is painted beige? More specifically Benjamin Moore's Edgecombe Grey (which looks more beige).Are there any photos out there of these colorssitting well together? Do I need to paint something else in the room e.g the fireplace more granite grey? Help nice people!

Both gray and beige are neutrals, so they should be fine together. Edgecombe Gray is a beautiful color. If you want to post a picture of the room with the light gray covered sofas in it, people here may be able to give you more specific advice about floors, rugs, accent colors and accessories that might look good with this combination.

I agree with feeny, they are both neutral colors. Do you have a photo of your room so we can see what the current color looks like against the sofa?

Whatever input you gather, I highly recommend sampling the color on the wall to make sure you like it in your space.

Edgecombe Gray has green undertones so it should work with any beige which either has pink, yellow, orange or green undertones. The 2 undertones you never want to mix are pink and yellow, it will always look dirty or "off". I agree with Feeny, post a photo so we can help you choose other colors and accents.

they work together, add some dark brown or black mixed with cream to give the room a good feel. Then add some accent colors like red or burnt orange or even hot pink and turquoise and then enjoy !
